How Tarrytown Honda Created A Digital-First Service Experience for their Customers Using DataClover's Pioneering "Quick Schedule Tool" from Our DealerServiceHub (DSH) Program

The Problem
Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, several dealerships experienced a downturn in their overall service business. During this time, Tarrytown Honda was somewhat struggling with their numbers and was looking to better convert their web traffic into actual service business to help ramp the drive for 2021 and beyond.

The Solution
In March 2021, Tarrytown Honda decided to partner with DataClover to use our DealerServiceHub (DSH) platform to run its service marketing efforts.
Through DealerServiceHub’s “Quick Schedule” tool, Tarrytown Honda was able to quickly capitalize on their marketing dollars by being more convenient to do business with online.
Here’s how Tarrytown Honda benefited from DataClover’s DealerServiceHub (DSH):
- In their first 60 days on the platform, our marketing efforts generated 137 appointment requests for the Tarrytown Honda dealership in NY. All of these appointments were converted solely through our Lead Conversion web application/plugin.
- 65 of these 137 customers were outside the 6-month/5k mileage service interval and 28 of them were in the bracket of being inactive for beyond 12+ months.
- What’s even more astounding is that, with DataClover’s DealerServiceHub program, their web traffic converted at a rate of 29.6%, which is 15X greater than their previous service scheduling page – which only converted at around 2-3%.

The Future
Through this renewed approach, Tarrytown Honda is now converting more online traffic into real service business which is helping them reach their OEM goals, internal metrics, and KPIs.
